Thurber Country Bookstore, located on the first floor of Thurber House, is a one-stop shop for James Thurber related items. We sell new and used books by and about James Thurber, along with prints of Thurber's cartoons, T-shirts, postcards, and other unique gift items. Thurber Country is open from 1-4 p.m., seven days a week. If you can't make it to Thurber House in person, don't worry. You can order online, or phone in your order at 614-464-1032, ext. 11.

We welcome self-guided tours at no charge between 1–4 p.m. everyday except major holidays. Guided tours are available on Sundays, or by appointment, for $4 adults; $2 students and senior citizens.
