The iconic, beloved broadcast journalist tackles a subject often discussed, considered, written about: how people in the middle of their lives can successfully "reinvent" themselves for a powerful, fulfilling future.
Jane Pauley has been an integral part of TV viewers lives for over thirty years. She served as cohost of Today for 13 years; anchored Dateline NBC for 11 years, and was host of her own daytime show, The Jane Pauley Show. Her memoir, Skywriting: A Life Out of the Blue, about her struggles with bipolar disorder, was a New York Times bestseller.
Pauley hosts the award-winning “Your Life Calling” segment on the Today show, and many of these fascinating profiles of remarkable people over fifty whose personal reinvention is both inspirational and aspirational make up her new book. Timely, funny, practical and informative, the people Pauley has met and their stories she shares with the reader will make those over fifty feel comfortable about change and those under fifty eager to fulfill their dreams.
Jane Pauley lives with her husband, Garry Trudeau, in New York City. They have three children.
This Special Event will feature Jane Pauley In Conversation with Columbus’s own Mikaela Hunt, co-anchor for NBC4 Today morning show. As someone who knows the rigors of anchoring an early morning news show and caring for young children, Mikaela brings an insider’s understanding to this very Special Event.
