Ghost Writing Workshops 2011

“It was
a dark and stormy night…”
Help us fill in the rest of the story at our annual Ghost Writing Workshops! If you are in 4th through 6th grade, join us at one of your local libraries where you work as a group to write a ghost story. With guidance from our teachers Kathy Matthews and Valerie Cumming, you’ll learn how Thurber created his hilarious and spooky story and how you can incorporate suspense, ghosts and humor all into one tale!
Come back to Thurber Center on Sunday, Oct 23 for the celebration party where there will be crafts, tours of the “haunted” Thurber House and you can see your ghost story acted out! The night wraps up with light refreshments and you’ll receive a booklet with all the ghost stories.
The workshop and party are free but you do have to register at the library you plan to attend. You do not want to miss out on the fun!
