Evenings with Authors
At Thurber House's Evenings with Authors events, nationally-known writers read and discuss their most recent books. Past authors include: Michael Connelly, Lisa Scottoline, Lee Child, Adriana Trigiani, among many others. Each author gives a 45-minute reading, followed by a 15-minute question-and-answer period. A book signing and reception close the event. Our Evenings with Authors series is divided into two seasons: Winter/Spring (January–May) and Fall (September–November).

What Are Evenings with Authors?
Evenings with Authors begin at 7:30 p.m. The featured guest reads from his or her most recent work, chats about writing; this is followed by a question-and-answer session with the audience. Each event closes with a coffee and cookies reception and an opportunity to buy the author's book(s) and get them signed.
- When purchased in advance, tickets are $20 general
admission, $18 for students and seniors. -All tickets purchased at the door are $20.
- A full
series of 7 events is $100 for adults, $85 for students and seniors.
- You can also order a mini-series that is one ticket to any three readings of
your choice for $54 for adults
and $45 for students/seniors.
Thurber House Presents: The Author's Table
The Author’s
Table dinners are a terrific way for a limited number of people to get up close
and personal with an author. This is an opportunity not only to share a great
meal with your favorite author (or get to know an author new to you), but also
to talk about his/her work in a more intimate setting; to get reserved seating
at the event; and to get your book signed ahead of time.
Price for the Author's Table is $45 and includes dinner, the reading, and reserved seating at the event.
